Our Mission

Ministry Training Program of the Midwest exists to equip saints to participate effectively in the work of ministry.

To provide deep level learning helping saints reach full grown spiritual maturity.
To encourage every member of the body to build the church up in love with an aim at spiritual reproduction.

Our Teachers

Pastor Jon Anderson

Senior Pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Oconomowoc, WI. Pastor Jon has served in pastoral ministry for over 15 years. He has an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and has completed a Master of Divinity.

Pastor Ben Vahle

Ben Vahle is the Senior Pastor at Holmen Baptist Church in Holmen, WI. He has served in full-time pastoral ministry for nearly eight years and full time Christian service for nearly 20. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, a Master of Arts in Youth Ministries, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity.

Pastor Andrew Hudson

Andrew Hudson is the Senior Pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Janesville, WI. He has taught in Bible colleges and seminaries (in the US and abroad) for about 30 years. In addition to pastoring Westside Baptist Church, he continues to teach occasionally as an adjunct seminary professor. He has earned Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.

How much do MTP classes cost?

All MTP Midwest classes are free! This is a ministry of local churches for local churches. We want to equip and train people to become effective in the ministry of their church.

Do I get a diploma?

MTP Midwest classes are focused on doing ministry. We do not give out certificates or diplomas. Our goal is to help you become more effective at ministry!

Can I take classes at home?

The short answer is “yes you can.” However, this is our least recommended option. One of the goals of MTP is to create and strengthen spiritual partnerships between local churches. Gathering in a small group at your local church will significantly aid in accomplishing this goal.

How old do I have to be?

Classes are designed to be taught at a higher level of instruction than your typical adult bible study. We do not put an age limit on the class, but leave it to your discernment.
